A round table took place at the UNEC with the participation of a German professor

Professors and employees of the University of Siegen and the UNEC participated in the mutual project “EE-KEY-AZ Entrepreneurship Education: Key to the Creation of Jobs and Employment in Azerbaijan” of both universities.

Professor Birgit Felden, director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship of, SME and Family Business of the Berlin School of Business and Law, first presented the development of the collaboration between family entrepreneurs and network building as well as international consortia.

Next, views and opinions were exchanged and discussed.

Note: The mutual project “EE-KEY-AZ Entrepreneurship Education: Key to the Creation of Jobs and Employment in Azerbaijan” of the University of Siegen and the UNEC was the winner of the competition of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in 2016. The duration of the project four years. The project encompasses events and workshops both in Germany and Azerbaijan that are attended by professors, teachers, junior researchers and students alike. Summer and winter schools as well as numerous seminars take place in both countries. Moreover, an exchange for junior researchers and graduates of the University of Siegen takes place in Azerbaijan, while their Azeri colleagues do research in Germany. Within the project, students receive the opportunity to gain practical experience in various companies in Germany and Azerbaijan.
